John C. KIRK, 61, a former Ina man, died last Thursday at the Union Hospital in West Frankfort.

Mr. KIRK was the son of the late J. V. and Emma KIRK and spent his early life here. He was a resident of West Frankfort at the time of his death, returning to that city after spending two years in St. Elmo. He suffered a heart attack two years ago.

He is survived by two sons and two daughters and several brothers and sisters.

Mr. KIRK was a former grand master of the Odd Fellows lodge of Illinois, and served as city commissioner of West Frankfort.

Funeral services were held in West Frankfort Sunday, with burial at the Kirk Cemetery.
