Lucille Ruth Keller, 76, Mt. Vernon and late of the Carlyle Health Care Center, Carlyle, died at 5;12 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Hospital, Breeze.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Hughey Funeral home, with the Rev. Richard Wheatley officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Sunday.

Mrs. Keller was born Sept. 9, 1906, in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of Eli and Ida M. (Inglett) Shirley.

On Aug. 17, 1924, in Jefferson County, she married John Keller, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Johnetta) Smart, Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Bob (Shirley) Rainey, Carlyle, and Mrs. Sam (Mary Lou) Kirk, Sesser; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister; Margaret Shirley, parents, and husband. Mrs. Keller was of the Baptist Faith.
