Clara Belle (Keller) Spurlock

Clara Belle KELLER daughter of Joseph Newton and Mary Cordelia KELLER was born September 8, 1870 in Perry County near Du Quion and died November 7, 1931 at the home of her sister, Mrs. W. S. DUNBAR of Dallas Texas. At the age of 61 years, 2 months and four days.

On April 4, 1894, she was united in marriage to George W. SPURLOCK. To this union were born five children, one which preceded her in death, namely William Grant.

Those surviving are Bernie L. of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Albert KNOWEL of Tyler, Texas, Raymond K. of Irvington, New Jersey, Charles L., whose address is unknown.

In early years, she made a profession of faith in Christ and years later during a revival, conducted by Rev. J. W. ALLEN, she and her husband joined the Hams Grove Baptist Church.

Besides the survivors listed above, she leaves to mourn, a sister, Mrs. W. S. DUNBAR of Dallas, Texas, two grandchildren, whom she dearly loved and a number of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services was conducted Tuesday afternoon at Hams Grove Church with Revs, Maulding and Burton conducting the service.
