Charles H. Huff

Charles H. Huff Rites Saturday

Funeral services for Charles H. Huff will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Bluford Funeral Home. The Rev. Ross Partridge will officiate. Burial will be in East Hickory Hill cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the Bluford Funeral Home where friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Friday.

Mr. Huff, 87, of Bluford, died at 5:00 a.m. Wednesday in Pocahantas, Ark., where he had been visiting relatives.

he was born Feb. 1, 1887, in Wanoka, Ill., the son of J. L. and Artemis M. (Davis) Huff.

On Mar. 2, 1898, he was married to Lillie Davis, who proceded him in death on Feb. 28, 1958.

He later married Esta Dulaney, who survives.

He is also survived by a son, Arthur Huff of Bluford; two daughters, Mrs. Grace3 Campbell of Mt. Vernon, and Mrs. Alma Latta of Sparta; four step-daughters, Mrs. Thelma Brewer and Mrs. Vlema Kildow, both of Rockford, Mrs. Mildred Jinkins of North Little Rock, Ark., and Mrs. Jewell Drew of Morgan Hill, Calif; a brother, Jess Huff of Bald KNob, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Blackwell and Mrs. Lola Pence, both of Ft. Lauderdale; nine grandchildren, including Harold Chambliss of Marlow, who was reared in the Huff home; 23 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Huff was a member of the East Hickory Hill church and, for over 60 years, was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America.
