Mrs. Inez A. Hayes, 70, of Route 7, died at 10:10 pm yesterday at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Sunday at the Hopewell United Methodist church, where she was a member, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix after 5 pm tomorrow.

Mrs. Hayes was born August 8, 1902, in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of James and Alice (Hutchison) Rogers.

She was married on April 5, 1919, in Mt. Vernon, to Olin A. Hayes. He survives.

Other survivors include a son, James Louis Hayes, Hammond, Ind.; four daughters, Mrs. Alice Douthit, Dix, Mrs. Doris Wood, Bluford, and Mrs. Mary Jones and Mrs. Retta Estes, both of Mt. Vernon; two sisters, Mrs. Lela Shanklin, Hokinsville, Ky., and Mrs. Alma McCambridge, Mt. Vernon; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
