Kareshia L. (Malone) Harris

Kareshia L. Harris, 34, Mt. Vernon, passed away at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2007, at her residence.

She was born on May 31, 1973, in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of Jesse and Sherry (Henson) Malone, Jr.

She married Telly Harris on March 3, 1992, in Mt. Vernon, and he survives.

She was a nurse’s aide at Countryside Manor.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the Evangelistic Outreach Christ-ian Church in Mt. Vernon with Pastor Garry Moore and Rev. Ronald Lash officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at Jackson Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Kareshia is survived by her husband, Telly Harris; children, Telly Harris, Jr. and Jessica Harris of Mt. Vernon; her father Jesse Malone, Jr. of Mt. Vernon; mother and stepfather, Sherry and James Haynes of Mt. Vernon; paternal grandmother, Sally Malone of Mt. Vernon; maternal grandmother, Nellie Cook of Mt. Vernon; a brother, Arlando Henson of Beaux-bridge, La.; sisters, Joyce (Bryant Farmer) of Mt. Vernon, Allania (Kirby) Rossyion of Beauxbridge, La., and Lakivya Henson of Blytheville, Ark. Several aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins also survive.

Kareshia was a member of the Evangelistic Outreach Christian Center in Mt. Vernon.

Services are under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.
