Inez (Phelps) Harris, 95 of Mt. Vernon died 4:27 am, September 22, 2000 at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center.

Mrs. Harris was an employee of Mode O'Day Garment Factory.

She was born Nov. 15, 1904 in Mt. Vernon to John and Belle (Hayes) Phelps.

She married W.H. Harris in Idaho in the 1930's. He died april 14, 1973.

Funeral services will be 1;30 pm Sunday at Newell Funeral Home. The Rev. Rod Joplin and Pastor A. Ted Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm today at the funeral home.

She is survived by three sisters, Leila Majors, Edith Ford and Helen Smith, all of Mt. Vernon. Mrs. harris was a member of Benton Church of God. In additions to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Alva Phelps.
