Melvin K. HAMLIN, 75, Athens, died 3:30 a.m. February 24, 1989, at his home.

Mr. HAMLIN was born August 12, 1913, near Bonnie, a son of William and Mae (DALBY) HAMLIN.

He married Mildred A. MILLINER, who survives.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. today at Hall Cemetery in Athens with the Rev. Ken GENNICKS officiating. Mott and Henning Funeral Home in Athens is in charge of arrangements.

In addition to his wife, Mr. HAMLIN is survived by three sons, Kenneth HAMLIN of Athens, Gary HAMLIN of Springfield and Wendell HAMLIN of Lincoln; one daughter, Carolyn BRYANT of Athens; five grandchildren; one great-grandson, one brother, Bobby HAMLIN of Springfield; one niece; and six nephews.
