Samuel L. Hall

AGED RESIDENT OF DIVIDE DIES

Funeral services for Samuel L. Hall, who died Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at the home of his son, Carroll Hall, near Divide, will be held Tuesday at 2 pm at Panther Fork church. Burial will be in the nearby cemetery.

Mr. Hall was 87 years, 11 months and 15 days of age at the time of death.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Carroll; one daughter, Mrs. Edna Stairwalt; two grandsons and one granddaughter, all of Texico.

A faithful member of Panther Fork Baptist church, he was a lifelong resident of Jefferson county and for many years was a prominent farmer.

The body will be removed this afaternoon from the L.R. Osborn and Son Funeral Home in Kell to the home of the daughter, MRs. Stairwalt, north of Divide, whewre friends may call.
