Buddy K. Hall

Buddy K. Hall Of Waltonville Died At Age 54

Buddy K. Hall, 54, Waltonville, died 1:55 p.m. March 20, 1998, at the VA hospital in Marion.

Mr. Hall was an installer for Western Electric.

He was born Aug.14, 1943, in Jefferson County to George and Irene (Loman) Hall.

On June 7, 1968, in Nashville, he married Donna Barnett, who survives.

Graveside services are set for 10:30 a.m. Monday at Knob Prairie Cemetery. The Rev. Chuck Trent will officiate.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Fry & Frick Funeral Home, with military rites conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars and AMVETS.

In lieu flowers, donations may be made to Knob Prairie Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.

In addition to Mr. Hall’s wife, survivors include son Bryan Hall, his wife Jarnie and their daughter Briana of Ashley; daughter Brenda Skidmore and her husband Johnnie of Mt. Vernon; sister Sharon Chiapelli and her husband Noble of Waltonville, and Joyce Robinson and her husband Gary of Sesser; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hall attended Waltonville Grade and High schools. He served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War, and was a lifetime member of Waltonville VFW Post 9153 and AMVETS Post 148 in Waltonville and the Mt. Vernon American Legion.

He was division commander of the AMVETS.

He was a Protestant by faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter, Vanessa Arnold.
