Jerry (Boswell) Barber Greenwood

Jerry Barber Greenwood, 77, of Milam, died Monday night in the Lufkin Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, to William and Louella Mae Davis Boswell.

Jerry lived in Texarkana and then Palacious, before settling in Milam. She had worked as a banker and later was co-owner of J & A Antiques in Hemphill. Jerry was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Texarkana, Texas.

Mrs. Greenwood was survived by her husband Charles "Chuck" Greenwood of Milam, her son Robbie Charles Abel and his wife Susan of Oklahoma City, OK, her daughters; Arlis O'Neal and her husband Anthony of Lake Fork, Texas, Phyllis Abel Gardner and her husband Greg of Maud, Texas, her grandchildren; Brittoni, Rob, Cameron and Grayson, her great grandchildren; Caison, Jackson and Elias, her brother Joe Rowland and his wife Virginia of Ft. Smith, Arkansas.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00PM, Monday, May 12, 2014, in the St. James Episcopal Church in Texarkana, Texas.


NOTE:
Jerry was the daughter of Wm. Harold Boswell, Jr. and granddaughter of Dr. Wm. Harold Boswell, Sr. Doc Boswell was the son of Isaac Street Boswell and Margaret Baker of Mt. Vernon. Doc moved to Arkansas to practice medicine @1900. His younger brother Samuel P. Boswell followed, both serving as Mayor of Almyra Arkansas for a period of time. Jerry died suddenly on May 5, 2014.
