John Henderson Frick, 92, of Bonnie, died at 10:45 a.m. Saturday
at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was a retired farmer.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Fry and
Frick Chapel in Waltonville, with the Rev. Eugene Beasley officiating.
Burial will be in Abner Cemetery, near Nason. Graveside rites will
be conducted by the Veterans of Foreign War Post 9153 of Waltonville.
Friends may call at the funeral home between 6 and 9 p.m. today.
Mr. Frick was born Nov. 27, 1888, in Jefferson County, the son of
George Fredrick and Florence (Pasley) Frick.
On Oct. 8, 1918, in Hamilton County, he married Flora McGhee, who
died June 24, 1970.
Survivors include five sons, Gawain Frick, Dean Frick, and Marlin Frick,
all of Bonnie, Harold Frick of Waltonville, and John Frick, Jr., of
Evansville, Ind.; and one sister, Mrs. Dell Nowland of Waltonville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, George William Frick;
one daughter Eliza Florence Pickett, who died in December, 1970; two brothers;
and four sisters.
Mr. Frick was a veteran of World War I, serving with the U. S. Army.
He was a member of the VFW Post 9153 of Waltonville, American Legion Post 141
of Mt. Vernon, and the Elks Prairie Christian Church.
