Otto Fields
OTTO FIELDS, DIES SUDDENLY MONDAY
Otto FIELDS, 73, highly respected farmer residing
two and one half miles southeast of Ina, was found dead
in the corn field near his home at 2 p. m. on Monday.
Mr. Fields had come to the house for dinner, took a
rest and returned to his work of gathering corn.
Mrs. Fields went to the field and found the body
lying between two corn rows.
Mr. Fields was married three times. His first wife was
Maggie FOX, who preceded him in death. His second wife,
who also preceded him in death was Nettie RICHARDSON.
In 1938 he was married to Rosa MORELAND and she survives.
He is survived by one son Paul FIELDS and one daughter.
Fern HOLMAN, both of Ewing.
Mr. Fields was a farmer, friend and neighbor, who will
be greatly missed by the peopleof his community.
He was a member of the Ina Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the
Presbyterian Church in Ina with Rev. John PHIPPS of Norris City,
officiating and burial was at Oakwood Cemetery in Mt. Vernon.
