Shirley Mae Ferguson, 64, of Woodlawn died Tuesday afternoon, Jan 24, 2006, at her home.

She was born July 3, 1941, in Centralia, daughter of Lester and Christine (Swartzlander) Lawson.

She married Ronal Ferguson on May 29, 1981, in Mount Vernon, and he survives in Woodlawn.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, eight grandchildren and two brothers.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother.

Mrs. Ferguson was a retired school teacher, having taught at Field School in Texico for many years. She was a devoted member of Fouts Christian Church.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am Friday at the Fouts Christian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm today at Fouts Christian Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made at to Fouts Christian Church and will be received at Styninger-Pacey Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
