Raymond FARLOW, 83, of Urbana, died Saturday in a hospital in that city. He was a former resident of Jefferson County.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the first United Church of Christ in Urbana. Burial will be in that city. The body will lie in state at the Renner Funeral Home in Urbana where friends may call at any time.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Opal FARLOW of Urbana; a son, Eugene FARLOW of Rantoul; a daughter, Mrs. Ida DARROW of Bloomington, Ind.; three brothers, Lawrence FARLOW of Bloomington, Ill., Guy FARLOW of West Palm Beach, FLA., and Earl FARLOW of McLeansboro; and one sister, Mrs. Gertrude PUCKETT of Mt. Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, S. M. and Miriam FARLOW.
