Mrs. Elizabeth EDWARDS, 83 yrs. of age, daughter of the late Col. S. G. Hicks, passed away at one o'clock this afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Patterson in Sandoval, her death being caused from old age.

The deceased was a sister of Mrs. E.A. Taylor of this city and a niece of "uncle Jim" Maxey.

The time for the funeral has not been definitely arranged and will be announced later.

Mrs. Taylor and daughters Mrs. J. Hill Williams of this city will attend the funeral services.
