Mrs. Marie Eaton, 74, of 509 S. 23st. St., died at 8 p.m. yesterday at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the owner of Riley Produce for 37 years.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Myers Chapel, with the Rev. Edward Sadler and the Rev. A. B. Clodfelder officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Thursday.

Mrs. Eaton was born in Massac county on Sept. 25, 1900, the daughter of L. M. and Anna Hight.

She was married to Ray Eaton on Nov. 28, 1918. He survives.

Mrs. Eaton was a member of Wesley United Methodist church and the guild at the church. Besides her husband she is survived by a son, Robert Eaton of Mt. Vernon; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
