Warren Smith Drew

Warren Smith DREW, a veteran of the Spanish American War, died at 8:45 o'clock this morning at the home of his cousin, Henry COCHRAN, 911 Jones Street. His age was 62y10m3d.

Mr. DREW was born June 10, 1875 in Moores Prairie Township, the son of William and Lavina DREW, both of whom are dead.

He was a stonemason by trade and had lived here for the past seven years.

Funeral arrangements had not been made this afternoon.

He is survived by two brothers, Logan DREW of St. Louis, Mo., and Kibble DREW; a half-brother, Jonathan DREW of Belle Rive, and one sister, Julie DREW.


Funeral Services for Warren Smith DREW, Spanish American War Veteran who died here yesterday will be held at 1:30 tomorrow afternoon at Myers Chapel, conducted by the Rev. KELLEY.

DREW will be buried with military honors and the services will be in charge of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Spanish American War Veterans. Interment will be made in New Hope Cemetery.

Members of those posts are asked to meet at Myers Chapel at one o'clock Friday afternoon. The body will remain at the chapel until the funeral hour.
