Mrs. Nora Range Dorris died Sunday at 9:25 p.m.

Mrs. Dorris was born March 31, 1863, in Hannibal, Mo, the daughter of William and Catherine (Martin) Tranum.

At the time of death she was 88 years, five months and one day of age.

She was a member of the Park Avenue Baptist church, in which she was an active worker until her health failed 16 years ago.

Mrs. Dorris is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Henry Beacks, two stepsons, Claude and Shelly Dorris, and two stepdaughters, Mrs. Ed Yearwood and Mrs. Charles Roeder, all of Mt. Vernon, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. yesterday at the graveside in Old Union cemetery conducted by the Rev. Bird Green, her former pastor.
