Mrs. Maria Dodson, wife of the late Isaac Dodson, died at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. Jeff Brown in Rome township, at 12:30 o'clock Sunday morning of congestion of the stomach after an illness of about two weeks.

Deceased was seventy years of age and made her home with the family of Mr. Charles Webber in South Mt. Vernon prior to her visit to her daughter, Mrs. Brown, where death overtook her.

She was buried at Hopewell, both funeral and interment occurring this morning.
