Mrs. Julia Dodson, wife of John Dodson, died at her home near the East Side school house at 9 o'clock this morning after a lingering illness.

Deceased was a member of the Methodist church, having been identified with that body for fifty years.

Mrs. Dodson sustained injuries during the cyclone of 1888 from which she never recovered.

The funeral will be at Hopewell Church with interment at the cemetery at that place.
