Note from Sandy:

Margaret "Maggie" Ellis b Mary 28, 175 d March 29, 1951 was the daughter of Lewis Ellis (c. 1826-1878) and Margaret Fields (c. 1829-1878).

Maggie married (1st) Daniel H. Knauss on February 26, 1893 and he died in 1905.

Maggie married (2nd) Dexter Grant Williams on January 4, 1910 and he died February 7, 1940.

Maggie married (3rd) David B. Davis in 1942 and he died March 29, 1951.

Maggie was my maternal great grandfather David B. Davis 2nd wife. His first wife, Sarah Elizabeth Shrum, had died from complications from diabetes. After Maggie died, he married his 3rd wife, Martha "Mattie" (Butler) Davis the widow of his brother Charles Davis. The house David and Maggie lived in was on what is now 5th Street in Bluford and that is where my dad's parents later owned and lived in their later years.
