Marian H. Danner, 74, 3304 Central Avenue, died at 6:35 A.M. today at Jeffersonian Nursing Home.

Mrs. Danner was born in Jefferson County on December 10, 1905, the daughter of Frank and Mayme (Dudley) Hester.

On Jan. 12, 1925, in Nashville, she married Duff P. Danner, who survives.

Mrs. Danner was a member of the West Salem Trinity United Methodist Church, the Mt. Vernon Womens Club and the Mt. Vernon Garden Club.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday at the Hughey Funeral Home with the Rev. Leroy E. Dude officiating. Burial will follow in New Shiloh Cemetery.

Besides her husband, survivors include one son, William D. "Bill" Danner of Mt. Vernon; one daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Carolyn) Dagg of Mt. Vernon; seven grand-children; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Chester (Margaret) Dees and Mrs. Emil (Fay) Norris, both of Waltonville, and Mrs. Normal (Hazel) Lewis of Toledo, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Danner was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
