Harold R. Crosno

MAROA; Harold R. Crosno, 101, Of Maroa, Ill. died at Dr. John Warner Hospital, Clinton, Ill. at 4 a.m. on April 1, 2011.

A visitation was held from 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. on Monday at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, Ill. A graveside service took place at 3:30 p.m. on Monday at Texas Township Cemetery, Clinton, Ill. J. Kent Hickerson officiated. Internment took place at Texas Township Cemetery, Clinton, Ill. Memorials can be made to Texas Christian Church.

Crosno was born in Jefferson County, Ill. on January 13, 1910. A son of Ed Crosno and Ersla (Hodge) Crosno.

He married Birdie Fay Martin on Dec. 5, 1931 at Jefferson Co., Ill.; Birdie passed away February 13, 2000.

Survivors include: Children, Patricia Brooke, Maroa, Ill.; Betty Tefft, Dunnellon, Fla.; Grandchildren, Tawnya Fogarty, Chattanooga, Tenn..; Steve (Debbie) Tefft, Cincinnati, Ohio; David Tefft, Jupiter, Florida; Penny (Timmy) Goree;, Dunnellon, Fla.; Noelle Tefft, Jupiter, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, grandson, Terry Joe Troxel, brothers and sisters.

Five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two great-great- grandchildren.

Crosno was affiliated with Texas Christian Church, Clinton, Ill. He was a retired farmer and an avid woodworker.
