Lester Cornstubble

PROMINENT KEENES MERCHANT IS DEAD

Lester Cornstrubble, who operated the large geneaerl store at keens in Wayne county, died last night at Mt. Vernon hospital, to which place he was taken yesterday in a grave condition.

Mr. Cornstrubble was born on a farm in Jefferson county Feb. 13, 1902. he was well known as a merchant in both Jefferson and Wayne counties.

Surviving are his widow, Elsie Mae and three daughters, Mary Louise, 12, Katie Lee, 10, and Shirley Ruth, 3, and four brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held Thursday Oct. 20, at the Garrison Temple church. Burial will be in Garrison cemetery.
