Nona Jane Ferguson Cook, 87, of Bonnie, died Wednesday afternoon in Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.

She was born March 18, 1893, in Bonnie to Ed and Mary Jane (Wilson) Locher.

She was married in 1920 to Ezra Ferguson, who preceded her in death in 1953, she was married to Silas Neubern Cook, who also preceded her in death.

Survivors include two daughters, Pearl Merritt of Viburnum, Mo., and Loretta Hertenstein of Bonnie; 11 step-children; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several step grandchildren and step great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, three sisters, a son, two daughters and a step-daughter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday from the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina, with the Rev. Bertram Hale officiating. Burial will be in the Black Cemetery near Waltonville. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
