Mrs. Kate COLE, wife of D. S. COLE, died at the family residence Wednesday evening. Death came after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. COLE was 53 years of age.

She was a native of Jefferson County, Illinois and had lived in Puyallup for many years.

She was well known and highly respected. She was a member of Puyallup Hive L.O.T.M., The Eastern Star Rebeccas and of the Baptist Church.

Mrs. COLE leaves to mourn her loss, a husband, 2 daughters, Mrs. Eva BRADENBURG, of High Falls, Oregon, and Mrs. Ora B. COOK of Issaquah, Wash., a son, Frank E., and 3 brothers, Dr. J. A. WILLIAMS, of this city, S. E. of Ocean Park, Cal., and Walter A. of Castle Rock, Wash., and 2 sisters, Mrs. Fannie McGREGOR, of Everett, and Mrs. Alice HARVILL, of Sumner.

The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Baptist Church, Rev. McB. MILNE officiating. Interment will be in Woodbine Cemetery.
