Adam D "Blair" Cluck

Adam Cluck, Mt. Vernon, grocer, died at 1:40 pm, yesterday his 79th birthday - at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lena Webb of 701 Herbert Street.

Mr. Cluck operated a grocery store at Fifth and Bell streets. Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm Tuesday at Myers Chapel, with the Rev. E. D. Moor officiating, and burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.

The body will remain at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lena Webb, until 10:30am Tuesday, then will be taken to Myers Chapel.

Mr. Cluck was born June 27, 1869 in Hamilton county, the son of Ed and Katherine (Green) Cluck. He had been a resident of Mt. Vernon for the past 50 years.

He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. John Griffin, Mrs. James Webb and Mrs. William Gilbert of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Frank Porter of Golden Gate, Ill.; two sons, William Cluck of East St. Louis and Willis Cluck of Anderson, Ind.; a sister Mrs. Amy Robinson of Anderson, Ind.; 33 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
