Charles F. Claybourne

Charles F. CLAYBOURNE, a well known Field township farmer, died at his home in Texico at 3:45 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the age of 73 years, 8 months and 6 days.

Funeral services will be held at 2 Sunday afternoon, July 23, at Antioch church, conducted by Rev. A.L. SMITH, assisted by Rev. I.E. MERIDETH, and burial will follow in Jordan Chapel cemetery.

Mr. Claybourne was the son of William D. Claybourne and Elizabeth Starnes Claybourne.

He was united in marriage with Lavada Jane WILLIAMS, who died November 20, 1918.

He was a lifetime resident of Field township.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Sophia HOWARD of Kell and Eula B. OS- BORN of Texico; 3 sons, Frank and Montie of Texico and Harlie of Lincoln, Ill.; and a sister, Belle NORFLEET of Tex.
