Lelah Leora (YADEN) Cartwright

Mrs. Lelah Leora CARTWRIGHT, Maywood, died at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday in West Lake Hospital, Melrose Park. She was a former resident of Hoopeston.

Body is at the Wood Funeral Home here where friends may call between the hours of 7-9 p.m. tonight. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Harley BENTHIN, Minister of the First Church of God, officiating. Burial will be conducted in Floral Hill Cemetery.

Born in Mt. Vernon October 27, 1896, she was the daughter of Robert and Cora WADEN MCKEE (this should be Cora McKEE YADEN).

She was married to Hobart CARTRIGHT at Waukegan in 1943. He survives.

Also surviving is her mother who resides at Hoopeston; three daughters, Mrs. Peter (Bernus) WARNER, Danville; Mrs. William (Lorraine) SHELTON, Peoria; and Mrs. Clyde (Mae) BOWDEN, Peoria; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Her father and one brother preceded her in death.

Mrs. CARTWRIGHT had resided in Maywood 12 years, moving there from Hoopeston.

She was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church, Maywood.
