Gussie (Rogers) Carlton

Gussie CARLTON, aged 55 years, 10 months and 25 days, died at her home on RFD 5 at 8:45 o'clock this morning where she has resided for the past 15 years.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Cyrus MAULDING at the Methodist Church in Macedonia, Sunday at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at the Macedonia Cemetery. The body will remain at Myers Chapel until 1 p.m. Saturday and will then be taken to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank MARLOW in Belle Rive.

Mrs. CARLTON was the wife of Cary Vincent CARLTON and the mother of six daughters and three sons all of whom survive. They are Mrs. Harry HUTCHCRAFT, Macedonia; Mrs. Frank Marlow, Belle Rive; Mrs. Jesse NEAL, Christopher; Mrs. Neal HINES, Fort Huron, Mich., Mrs. Everett ELLIS, Evansville, Ill.; Mrs. George ULRICH, Mt. Vernon; Delbert CARLTON, overseas; Charles R. CARLTON, a member of the Air Corps stationed in Greensboro, NC; Ralph D. CARLTON, with the Navy overseas; a half-sister, Mrs. Elbert HUTCHCRAFT of Macedonia and 19 grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. CARLTON was born December 2, 1888 the daughter of Fred and Telitha (HUNT) ROGERS.

She was a member of the Methodist Church of Corinth.
