Joseph Boyle Dies At Good Samaritan

Joseph P. Boyle, 70, who suffered severe burns in an accident at his home in Belle Rive last Dec. 5th, died at the Good Samaritan Hospital yesterday at 6 pm. He had been a patient at the lcoal hospital since his accident.

Mr. Boyle, a farmer and grocer, had been a resident of Belle Rive for the past 20 yearsa. He was Passt Noble Grand of the I.O.O.F Lodge, Mt. Vernon.

The body will lie in state at Myers chapel and the funeral services will be Sunday at 2 pm in the chapel. The Rev. Bird Green will conduct the services and burial will be at Oakwood cemetery.

Mr. Boyle was born in Illinois, Sept. 27, 1875, the son of Lee and Pauline (Glazebrook) Boyle.

He was a member of the Baptist church in Belle Rive.
