Kenneth C. "Bud" Bowdler
Kenneth C. "Bud" Bowdler, 42, 917 Airport Road, died at 5:35 pm Monday in 
Good Samaritan Hospital.  He was a coordinator for General Radiator Division 
Chromalloy American Corp.
Mr. Bowdler was born in Cumberland, Ky., Nov. 8, 1939, the son of John Henry and 
Elma (Riddle) Bowdler.  On Sept. 10, 1960, in Mt. Vernon, he married Carol Murray, 
and she survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his mother, Mrs. Elma Bowdler of Mt. Vernon; 
three daughters, Lisa Bowdler of Mt. Vernon and Carla Bowdler and Diane Bowdler, both 
at home; three brothers, Sidney Bowdler, Jerry Wayne Bowdler and Rickey G. Bowdler, all 
of Mt. Vernon; one sister, Mrs. Betty Winkler of Bluford; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday at the Hughey Funeral Home with the 
Rev. John Capps officiating.  Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery.
Friends may call after 6 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Bowdler was a member of the Mt. Vernon Eagles Lodge and the Mt. Vernon Gun and 
Sportsman Club.  He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.
