Mrs. Laura Belle Bond, a respected resident of this city for the past 22 years, died at 1:20 am today at her home, 711 Opdyke Avenue. Her age was 64 years, one month and 16 days.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Wells Chapel Church. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Barney C. Byers and burial will follow in Wells Chapel Cemetery, in Farrington township. The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel until 10 am Friday, then will be taken to the family home, where friends may call up until the funeral hour.

Mrs. Bond was born December 25, 1878 in Jefferson County, the daughter of John and Matilda (Chowhorn) (NOTE: actually Cochran) Holloway.

She was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church.
