Ellis Seymour BLISS, 45, of Benton Route 1 died Tuesday at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Mt. Vernon after a lingering illness.

Mr. BLISS, a butcher, leaves his wife Annis Toule BLISS; his mother, Mrs. George BLISS, and two sisters: Mrs. Lee COOK, Ina and Mrs. Jane ADAMS, Benton.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock at the First Baptist Church in West City, with Reverend P. D. TITTLE officiating. Interment will be in Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery. The will lie in state at the Freeman Funeral Home.
