James Keith Beckman
Of Mt. Vernon Died
At Age 22
James Keith Beckman, 22, 724 S. 23 St., was dead on arrival at 3:32 a.m.
Nov. 14, 1986, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Mr. Beckman was born Jan. 13, 1964, in Beech Grove, Ind., the son of
James Keith and Judy Kay (Jackson) Beckman, who survive.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with
the Rev. Melvin Vandeloo and Monsignor James P. Burke officiating. Burial
will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Sunday at Hughey Funeral Home. Burke will
recite the rosary at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
In addition to his parents, who live in Opdyke, survivors include on sister
Julie Beckman of Houston; one grandmother, Mrs. Rosemary Jackson of Mt. Vernon;
one great-grandmother, Mrs. Rose Shipman of Mt. Vernon; and several aunts and uncles.
Mr. Beckman was formerly employed in the meat department at Country Fair. He was
a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by grandparents David Jackson and James and Letha Belle Beckman.
