Kaye (LEATHERS) BASS, 59 of Parkers Chapel, Ark. died August 20, 2003, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas.

Born April 1, 1944, in Mt. Vernon, she was the daughter of Otis M. LEATHERS and Dorothy Carl FARTHING LEATHERS.

She was a homemaker and a member of Marysville United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her husband, Walter Bass of Parkers Chapel, Ark.; her mother Dorothy C. LEATHERS of Mt. Vernon; a son, Kraig JONES of Hope; two step-daughters, Tonya ALLEN of Parkers Chapel, Ark. and Shanna KING of Junction City, Ark; a step-son, Walter Bass II of El Dorado; two brothers, Otis Leon LEATHERS of Collinsville and Marvin Gene LEATHERS of Mt. Vernon; and three grandchildren.
