Tuesday, Jan 20, 1942, at his home on the farm where he was born in Blissville township, Jefferson county, Illinois, northwest of Waltonville. His age was 63 years, 1 month, and 24 days.

Besides his companion and loving sons Mr. baldridge is survived by two nephews, one niece and many other sorrowing relatives and a host of friends. A sister, Mrs. Iva Wells and a brother, Alva l. baldridge preceded him in death.

Honesty, integrity, loyalty to high ideals were traits of character which made Arthur Baldridge one of the most highly esteemed citizens of this community. He performed the multiple duties of life with fine courage. Beloved by his family and all his associates he will long be remembered for the honerable life he lived-an example worthy of emulation by his fellow men.
