Anna M. Atchison, 83, of Route 1, Opdyke, died at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 1976, at Hickory Grove Manor in Mt. Vernon.

Mrs. Atchison was a member of Hams Grove Baptist Church in Opdyke.

She was born to John and Ella Jordan Kniffen in Larned, Kan. on Dec. 18, 1892.

In Sept. 25, 1919, she was married to Charlie R. Atchison in Salem.

She is survived by a son, Raymond E. Atchison of Marion; a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Atkinson of Denver, Colo., and two grandsons.

She was preceded in deaith by one sister and two brothers.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hughey Pulley Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Carterville. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today; at Hughey Pulley Funeral Home
