Rites of Alphonso Anderson Sunday

Alphonso Anderson, 55, colored, died at 7:30 a. m. today at the home of his sister, Mrs. Estella Stokes, 1501 S. Ninth street.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p. m. at the Shiloh Baptist church in Mt. Vernon. The Rev. L. A. Robinson will officiate and burial will be in Bethel Memorial Hospital. (sic) The body will remain at the Campbell-Parker Funeral Home, where friends may call after 5:00 p. m. Saturday.

Mr. Anderson was born October 29, 1889 in Jefferson county, Miss., the son of Henry and Aranna Anderson. He is survived by two sisters, Zella Ora Baltimore of Omaha, Nebraska and Mrs. Estella Stokes of Mt, Vernon.
