Jane Adams, 84, of Bonnie died 10:48 p.m. Feb. 20, 2005, at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.

She was born July 28, 1920, a daughter of Curtis and Effie (Book) Bliss. She married James H. Adams July 2, 1939; he survives.

Mrs. Adams is also survived by her children, Curtis L. Adams and wife Leatha of Virginia Beach, Va., Gary L. Adams and wife Chris of Kell, Richard L. Adams and wife Mildred of Mt. Vernon, Wilma Book and husband Lindell of Ina, Eddie W. Adams and wife Lana of Bonnie, Lloyd Adams and wife Sharon of Bonnie, Kenneth D. Adams and wife Anna of Bonnie, Juanita Winder and husband Richard of Carriere, Miss, and Paul D. Adams and wife Ruth Ann of Mt. Vernon; 25 grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 10 stepgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, 2 stepgrandchildren, a sister and two brothers.

Mrs. Adams was a lifelong member of Bonnie Church of God.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Bonnie Church of God, with Jack Gatson officiating.

Burial will be in Kirk Cemetery in Ina.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Johnston Funeral Home in Ina and after noon Thursday at Bonnie Church of God.
