IN MEMORY OF
FRED JUSTICE SR.
1894 - 1984

Fred contributed so much to researchers in
Jefferson County
Every so often there are those who have
to say how many mistakes were made.
Never does anyone say how much has been found
Fred has given us so many clues within his work.
We must remember that Fred's work was done before the days of computers.
Fred is also one of the people who read the marriage records and printed them one by one so they are available on the Illinois Marriage Index at the State site.
According to his obituary, he had just finished the Cemetery Book when he died at age 90!
I wonder what we might provide for others when we are 90!

The work of Fred Justice has helped so many. His work will live on to help many generations to come.
