My cousin Sue Ellen (Williams) Robbins (1941-2014) had the original land grant given on 1 Mar 1851 to Abraham Marlow (1822-1897), our ancestor, for his service in the Mexican War. Sue let me scan the very large document in two pieces and then I connected the two pieces and scaled it smaller to post on this website.

Note that Millard Fillmore Marlow was the President at the time and Abraham (my 3rd great grandfather) named his 2nd son Millard Fillmore Marlow, my 2nd great grandfather.
