Jefferson County

Many volunteers have worked very hard to provide the researchers
of Jefferson County a listing of Cemeteries and to provide pictures
of headstones to help you in your personal research.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE the cemetery listings and pictures
that others have worked so hard to provide and add it
to any other website as your own.

Thank You
for understanding and respecting
the work of others.

We have concluded that Harlow Cemetery and Old Salem Cemetery
are the same after finding this article from
"1978 Facts and Folks of Jefferson County"
Aaron Harlow; married Frances Smith and died at age of 32 in 1859.
He is buried at Harlow Cemetery, near East Salem Church.
Another of Overton Harlows daughters, Elizabeth who married
Valentine Brookman died at birth of fifth child William and is
buried at Harlow cemetery.
