Clarence Frazier

Clarence FRAZIER was born 1898; son of Willus Eugene FRAZIER and Ida Belle Owens. He was brickmason; like to deal with auctions with his son Fred, and had an antique shop on S. 10th street.

He was married to Charlotte BROWN and second to Ethel THOMPSON.

He was quite man, difficult to understand at times, very tight with his money. Was called cottontop when he was young because of his whitish blonde hair.

Clarence died 1964 in Mt Vernon and is buried at Pleasant Hill cemetery near Dix.

Ida Belle OWENS was born 1872/1975 dau of Shadrack OWENS and Delia Bickmore.

Delia was born 1837 in Madison co and died 1926 in Jefferson county.

Ida and Delia are both buried at Pleasant Hill near Dix.

Willus was born 1868 to Leo FRAZIER 1832/1894. Willus died 1929 in East St.Louis.

Leo died in Jefferson co but it is unknown where he was buried although author has papers from his estate telling of paying HUTCHISON at Dix for his burial.

Willus's mother was Mary ISAACS born 1833 in Bond county and died 1906 in Jefferson county; although her death record states she is buried at Union Chapel; there is no record of her being buried there.
